Terms of Service

DRAFT — FOR ATTORNEY REVIEW. This document is a working draft prepared for New Faction Inc d/b/a Madam Vortex and must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before public launch.

1. The service is entertainment

MadamVortex.com, operated by New Faction Inc d/b/a Madam Vortex, provides fictional entertainment experiences. Madam Vortex is a character. Readings, reports, ceremonies, fortunes, and all other outputs are creative entertainment content, may be generated or assisted by automated systems (including AI), and are not factual, predictive, or advisory. They must not be relied upon for medical, psychological, financial, legal, relationship, or any other real-world decisions.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase. You are responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of information you submit. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to manipulate the generation system, or violate these terms.

3. Purchases & subscriptions

Prices are shown at checkout and charged by Stripe. One-time experiences are delivered digitally upon successful generation. The Daily Fortune subscription renews automatically until canceled via the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See the Refund Policy for remedies when something goes wrong.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit unlawful, hateful, or harassing content; not to attempt prompt-injection or otherwise manipulate the generation system; not to upload malicious files; not to abuse the referral program; and not to scrape, resell, or misrepresent the service as factual psychic services.

5. Your content & our content

You retain rights to the inputs you submit and grant us a license to process them to deliver the service. Generated readings are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use and sharing. The Madam Vortex name, characters, lore, and site design are property of New Faction Inc.

6. Disclaimers & liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEW FACTION INC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on entertainment content.

7. Changes & termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on-site and take effect prospectively. You may close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature survive termination (licenses, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.
